With an impressive background spanning 6 years as a residential and commercial title and escrow executive and over 31 years in mortgage lending and servicing, Karla brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Mason Lillie. Her profound understanding of the real estate industry ensures clients receive exceptional service and guidance.
Throughout her illustrious career, Karla has personally closed thousands of escrows, demonstrating her unwavering commitment and proficiency. As a manager, she has overseen tens of thousands of escrows, validating her impressive ability to manage complex operations and maintain the highest standards of service. Her strong track record speaks volumes about her dedication and innate ability to navigate the intricate landscape of real estate transactions.
Before her venture into the title and escrow business, Karla spent 24 years in residential and construction mortgage banking, as well as 7 years in consumer lending, mortgage servicing, private bank lending, and mortgage sales. This diverse experience brings a wealth of expertise to the title and escrow field. Drawing from her background as a mortgage banker, underwriter, and processor, Karla’s extensive knowledge enables her to assist clients in navigating the various intricacies and complexities of real estate transactions, ensuring a smooth and successful closing process. Her expertise also allows her to anticipate potential issues and address them proactively, mitigating any delays or complications that may arise.
In addition to her professional experience, Karla is deeply committed to staying updated on the latest industry trends and best practices. An attorney and entrepreneur for over three decades, Lesli Masoner utilizes her multi-facetted experience in every aspect of Mason Lillie’s’ business. Ms. Masoner manages company operations and ensures that every step of our closings go smoothly and that our clients get the legal protection they need. Prior to Mason Lillie, Ms. Masoner worked with many high-net-worth legal clients handling their real estate transactions and litigation. This experience makes Ms. Masoner uniquely qualified to assist our attorney and agents with complex transactions.
Ms. Masoner attended the prestigious Oxford Institute of International and Comparative Law in Oxford, England. Ms. Masoner received her Juris Doctorate from the University of La Verne and was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1988. Ms. Masoner went on to be admitted to the United States District Courts for the Northern, Central and Southern Districts of California in 1989. In 2002, Ms. Masoner was granted the honor of being admitted to the United States Supreme Court.
Ms. Masoner is on the Board of Director’s of A Vintage Affair, a Tennessee charity benefiting the women and children of Williamson County in need for over 20 years.

She has extensive experience as a title examiner, working on residential and commercial properties. Sam is also experienced in conducting property research, examining deeds and liens, and issuing final title policies. Sam’s passion for real estate law and industry began early in her academic career, and she has continued expanding her knowledge and expertise ever since.
As Mason Lillie’s Operations Manager, Sam oversees the day-to-day operations and spearheads the technical side of the business, working closely with the IT team to ensure optimal workflow and efficient communication between all parties involved in a transaction.
